It’s Not Where You Are – It’s Where You’re Going

Fitness begins at every level.  Here at Infinite Fitness in Schaumburg, we help all levels, from fitness newbies to elite athletes. No, you’re probably not at the same level as the person working out next to you. But that’s okay. You train according to your abilities, your time-frame and your goals. It doesn’t matter what the person next to you is doing, the only thing that matters is what you are doing.

If it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you. Workouts can feel easy, okay and downright difficult. But they all should challenge you. Get uncomfortable. Hit the limits of your current comfort zone or push yourself into a new one each workout.

Just like when you change your eating habits, small changes add up to big benefits. The more your body gets used to moving, the more moving you can do. Start with building a foundation. Each workout strengthens the foundation as you build your fitness to higher and higher levels.

Set goals, both short-term and long-term. These give you something to work towards everyday. Achieving or surpassing your goals gives you the motivation to set new ones. Short-term goals can help you through the harder workouts. Long-term goals give you motivation for getting each workout logged in at the gym.
